Our old friends Shannon and Chris were staying with us last weekend, and we celebrated Shannon's birthday on our porch with a bunch of delightful kids... oh and the adults were all right as well.
Thanks to Shannon and Paz for sharing their pix.

Puddle jumping

Well, when the weather is as wet as it's been here fro the last few weeks, what do you do about it? Do you complain? Do you whine? HECK NO! YOU GO OUT AND STOMP IN SOME PUDDLES!!!

Check out how wet Elliot's pants are. And we call ourselves responsible parents hee hee.

Down by the river

We decided to visit the river one evening to see how the goslings were doing. Funnily enough, the geese who had only two goslings seemed much more relaxed than those that had six or nine of them.

Rachel in Blue

Rachel and Elliot both love racing around in the wading pool at our park - even when there is no water in it. Rachel's latest favourite is racing around on her tricycle in the pool. Mom and Dad like it too because she is no where near the road, or steep inclines.

Elliot takes up soccer

Every night, there is soccer being played in our local park. One evening, Elliot took the opportunity to go down and explore the field.
It looks like he is aspiring to take after his Uncle Brent and Aunties Sharon and Rosalee!
You can see the wheels turning - how do I get the ball on the other side of this net thingy...?

The cousins

In May the cousins all got together for the Race Weekend. While their parents were out running, the kids had a chance to play together and bond.
