Check out the nuchal translucency on that kid!

Images from our second ultrasound. Kismet was very cooperative, although the child was kicking mummy throughout the process. We'll see how that behaviour pattern develops in the future... Posted by Picasa

Crazy house elf

Food splattered on the clothing. Pair of stockings on the head. Charging down the hallway screaming and laughing like a deranged drunken midget. Does life get any better than this? Posted by Picasa

Some Rachel-speak translated

Original Rachelese:
"Mo mo mo.
Nooda.

Noodles.

Rachel is getting much better at the old "self serve" concept. Almost as much ends up in her mouth as.. well, everywhere else. Posted by Picasa

Rachel in ribbons - stairs

Sue, our day care provider, gave Rachel these adorable hair ribbons. Rachel, our little Hilary, loves to climb the stairs... because they're there. Posted by Picasa

Introducing: Kismet!

Here's the latest addition to the Family Van Ruleduinen. We've just started to tell people Jeanette is pregnant with "Kismet" (gender neutral code name). Still early days at 11 weeks, but we know that the due date November 28 will come up faster than we think. Posted by Picasa

The view from the front door.

Posted by Picasa The good news is that the work is totally being payed for by the city. We may have to cover some re-building costs, but hey, we'll have a working sewer.

Our house - sewer work

Here's a picture of 211 Daniel Avenue with the front lawn torn up for sewer work. The big tree in our front yard (a city tree) was bullying our sewer line all the way between the street and the house. Posted by Picasa
